    A wonderful study of hand-woven carpet design, detailing the history of the practice, as well as the more technical aspects. The authors explore how this beautiful art form has developed in a number of different countries, including India, Turkey, Spain, Poland, France and England.

    Compiled by art historian A. F. Kendrick, with the help of C. E. C. Tattersall.

    Condition

    Bound in the publisher's original tan cloth. Externally, very good, with some bumping and rubbing to the extremities. Cloth is a little soiled, heavier to the spine, with a few small tide marks. Marks to front paste down to volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
