This work presents the birds of our country in alphabetical order, including their eggs, nests, life, haunts and identification. With the most up-to-date knowledge available at the time of publishing.

Profusely illustrated, with thirty-eight coloured plates and two frontispieces, collated, complete. With around eight hundred other illustrations throughout.

Condition

In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Light offsetting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
