    This volume is a richly illustrated travel narrative covering Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, the French and British West Indies, with personal observations about the people and places he encountered.

    Harry A. Franck (1881–1962) was a prolific American travel writer known for firsthand, adventurous accounts of distant regions.

    This volume is richly illustrated with 31 double sided monochrome plates and a map of the itinerary of the author. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Slight spotting to cloth. Previous owner's stamp to front free endpaper. Spine faded. Slight loss to tail of spine and head at joint. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in minor loss to cloth. The odd slight handling mark to boards. Front and rear hinges cracked, but holding. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot to first and last few leaves.
