First and only edition. Privately printed. A list of the Etonians who fought in the Great War of 1914 to 1919, dedicated to those who gave their lives for their country. Being a record of all graduates of Eton College, Berkshire, who served in the Great War between 4th August 1914 and 28th June 1919, or in the Baltic and Russia in the next few months. Intended as a copy of the book written on vellum being kept at Eton directly.
Condition
In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark. Minor loss to the extremities. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting, predominantly to the first and last few pages. With minor age toning to the endpapers.
