This work tells the history of Islam in India. Written by Ja'Far Sharief a native of the Deccan region and translated by G. A. Herklots.

This edition was revised and rearranged by William Crooke. 26 illustrated plates were added which visually depict Islamic ancient practices. Collated complete.

Condition

Bound in the original publishers binding. Externally generally smart. A few light marks to the spine and boards. Institutional library sticker on the spine. Internally firmly bound. Institutional bookplate and stamp to the front free pastedown and title page. Pages bright and clean. All illustrated plates clean.
