Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first edition, first impression.

This volume was adapted from a series of short stories initially serialised in the Strand, but later rewritten by Wodehouse to form a more complete novel.

Wodehouse's tale follows impoverished, embarrassment-prone Archibald "Archie" Moffam and his difficult relationship with his art-collecting, hotel-owning, millionaire father-in-law.

Former owner's stamp to front free endpaper.

Condition
