First edition. Scarce work. With a frontispiece and seventy-nine plates of portraits. Collated complete. A roll of honour for former students of George Heriot's School, a private primary and secondary day school on Lauriston Place in the Lauriston area of Edinburgh, Scotland. Providing a record of those students who enrolled in the British forces for the duration of the First World War. With records of the honours gained, those who served in the war, and the names of those who died on service.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and fading to the extremities. Minor bumping to the board tips with the odd small mark to the cloth. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine resulting in light fraying. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light age toning to the endpapers.
