In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities, resulting in one or two very minor closed tears and creases. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Previous owner, John K. Martin's discreet sticker label to rear paste down. Dust wrapper, smart. Tape repairs to rear wrap's inner lower permitters and tail of spine, and front extremity. One or two spots to wraps. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting the the odd small closed tear, chip and crease. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to rough cut fore edge.
