Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

A collection of letters and articles written during Kipling's travels from India to Burma, China, Japan, and the United States en route to England. Written by Rudyard Kipling, an English novelist, short-story writer, poet, and journalist best known for the novel Jungle Book and the Just So Stories. Kipling was born in British India, which inspired much of his work.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities only. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and minor chipping which has been sympathetically repaired with paper to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot to the endpapers.
