After the beginnings of a successful career, the First World War became a catalyst for controversy with Holbrooke denouncing the lack of support given to British music at the time and openly vehemently berating his critics. Written by George Lowe, a British critic and writer.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear to the extremities and light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light age toning to the endpapers.
