Ethel Smyth's memoir, providing an account of her life, travels, musical career, and her friendships. Ethel Smyth was a noted English composer and member of the women's suffrage movement, being the first female composer to become a dame.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally excellent with minimal edge wear and a slight lean. Bookplate of 'John Sparrow' to the front pastedown, and author's inscription to the front free endpaper. Offsetting to endpapers with slight cockling to the rear pastedown. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages, with offsetting to the title page.
