The first edition. 

A play by John Middleton Murry, a fantastical spiced-themed romance.

Murry was a prolific author, and the husband of Katherine Mansfield. He was also good friends with D. H. Lawrence and T. S. Eliot, though he had an affair with Lawrence's wife Frieda.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart. Spine is sunned. Title label is a little age-toned. A few light marks to the wraps. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
