What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

First editions of six very scarce annual reports of the 'London and Home Counties Traffic Advisory Committee'.

This committee offered guidance to the Minister of Transport on a wide range of traffic matters across the expansive London Traffic Area, which covered London and its surrounding counties. Each year, the Committee prepared an annual report, formally submitted to the Minister of Transport and laid before Parliament, which included summaries of recommendations, and discussion of inquiries.

Present here are six reports, the first from 1920, with further annual reports for the years 1926-27, 1927-28, 1928-29, 1929-30, and 1930-31.

Nineteen pages of maps for 1926-27, six maps (including two folding) for 1927-28, one map to 1928-29, seven maps (including two folding) to 1929-30, and eight maps to 1930-31.

With the stamp of the Ministry of Transport Library to wrap heads, with further ink inscriptions.

Wraps of two volumes tenderly held, with losses to back strip tails. Rear wrap of one volume detached but present. Internally, firmly bound.
