Written by William Henry Hudson, or Guillermo Enrique Hudson, an Anglo-Argentine author, naturalist and ornithologist. Illustrated by Edward Julius Detmold, a prolific Victorian and early twentieth-century book illustrator.

Condition

In the original full green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and minor fading to the spine. Small puncture marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Light age toning to the endpapers.
