The first edition of English writer and critic Sacheverell Sitwell's first published work, a charming collection of poems issued as the 22nd work in publisher B. H. Blackwell's 'All Adventurers' series, where the works of 'A Series of Young Poets Unknown to Fame' were printed.
Four hundred copies of this work were produced.
In the publisher's paper wraps, with illustrated frontispiece and decorative title page.
With two pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. With the inscription 'Crewe' to the title page head.
A lovely work from the younger brother of Edith and Osbert Sitwell.
Condition
In the publisher's original paper wraps. Light edgewear to back strip and wrap tails, otherwise externally excellent. Small inscription to front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
