This children's book features a collection of verses from Angel Davis, including stories about singing bears, horse riding, and helpful gnomes, illustrated with Harry B. Neilson's expressive artwork. Neilson was a British illustrator known for his children's book illustrations and caricatures, often, as seen in this work, depicting anthropomorphic animals.
In the publisher's original pictorial hardback. Internally an excellent copy, suitable for re-binding.

In the publisher's original pictorial covers. Externally lacking spine, with marks to the covers and edge wear. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only light spotting to the front and rear. Internally an excellent copy of an uncommon work, suitable for rebinding.
