    The pocket editions, with ‘Debits and Credits’ being the third edition of the work.

    This set includes; ‘Stalky & Co’, ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Rewards and Fairies’, ‘Actions and Reactions’, ‘A Book of Words’, ‘Land & Sea Tales for Scouts and Guides’, ‘Debits and Credits’, ‘Kim’, and ‘The Second Jungle Book’.

    A nine volume set. 

    Illustrated with monochrome vignettes, and twelve monochrome plates to ‘Land and Sea Tales’ collated, complete. Ten plates to ‘Kim’, collated, complete. Twelve plates to ‘Rewards and Fairies’, collated, complete. Seventeen plates to ‘The Jungle Book’, no collation found. 

    This set features a collection works from the noted English author, Rudyard Kipling. Kipling is best known for his story 'The Jungle Book', which is included in this collection alongside its sequel. The collection includes stories such as 'Kim', and his poetical works.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth. Externally very smart with rubbing and slight bumping to the extremities, the odd slight mark to the boards, and a slight lean to 'Stalky'. Offsetting to the endpapers, with owner's ink inscriptions and ‘St Mary’s Priory’ bookplate and stamps to many of the volumes. Internally, binding starting in places, otherwise firm, pp. i-vi weak with tape repair and a closed tear to the plate facing pp.91 to ‘Land and Sea Tales’. Pages generally bright and clean with occasional spotting.
