Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece, a map to the pastedown and thirty-three pates. Collated complete. 

This work was written by Gilbert Ernest Hubbard. The work provides the author's account of the 'Turco-Persian Frontier Commission', to which he was the secretary, and his travels during this time.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally sound with damp stains to the boards and spine, fading to the spine, bumping to the extremities, small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine and a closed tear to the head of the rear joint. Light scattered spotting and age toning to the endpapers. Front hinge starting after half title. Internally firmly bound with cords showing in places. Pages lightly age toned with spotting throughout.
