Signed by the author. Also with a loosely inserted leaf bearing a message in Maynard's hand. This letter from the author dated 1919. 

With four pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.

In the publisher's original quarter cloth with paper boards. Externally, excellent. Slight creasing of paper to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean but age toned. The odd light spot throughout. Signed by the author to the front endpaper. With four pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.
