    Description

    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

    The first edition, first impression of this work, with the publisher's name to back strip measuring over 28mm in length (shorter in later impressions).

    Collection of Rudyard Kipling's stories accompanied by verses, as often seen in Kipling's anthologies. 

    With four leaves of publisher's advertisements to rear.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean but for the odd light minor spotting to the very occasional leaf.
