Sold by A. H. Wheeler & Co with their stamps. Wheeler & Co are an Indian bookstore chain found in railway stations and are most notable for issuing the first publication of Rudyard Kipling's collection of stories titled 'Plain Tales from the Hills', which were issued by Wheeler as part of the 'Indian Railway Library Series'.

Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed, Minor edge wear, heavier to the head and tail of the spine, with a small amount of loss. A few light marks to the wraps. Spine is faded. Tape repair to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots.
