The scarce signed limited edition of this work, with this being an unnumbered example of one of 100 Edition de Luxe copies produce, flat signed by Tyndale himself. Illustrated with a tipped in colour frontispiece and twenty-nine further tipped in colour plates. Collated, complete.

British watercolourist Walter Tynsdale illustrates his own account of his experiences of the landscapes, towns, and people of the French and Italian Riviera, from Marseille to Menton and into Liguria.
Undated; dated 1916 via the British Library.
Tyndale offers both personal impressions and historical and architectural commentary, making the work a blend of travelogue, local history, and artistic reflection.
Condition
In the publisher's original paper vellum, with gilt detailing. Externally lovely, with light spotting to board perimeters. Front hinge lightly strained to tail. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to endpapers and first and last few leaves, with pages otherwise clean and bright.
