    First edition copies. 

    These works are an interesting reference work on Middle English religious and didactic verse which has been complied by Carleton Brown. The first volume contains a list of manuscripts and the second volume gives an index of first lines and an index of subjects and titles.

    Condition

    In quarter cloth with paper boards. Externally, smart with some marks to the spines. Bookshop sticker to both pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. With some pages unopened.
