    Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    Seventh edition. Very scarce work. A guide to the city of Lucknow, India, containing popular places and buildings to visit, historical notices on the Mutiny of 1857 (here mistakenly printed as 1957), and a brief description on the history of other cities. Dated from the British Library.

    Condition

    In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, worn with rubbing and chipping to the extremities. Front board held by cords to the tail of the joint only, light loss of the cloth to the spine. The odd mark to the boards with paper peeling from the rear board. Light fraying to the cloth. Internally, generally firmly bound with title page and front endpaper loosening with the front board. Pages are bright with light age toning.
