    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    Undated, dated from a copy held at The British Library. 

    With seventeen double sided plates of sheep, one plate demonstrating wool types and numerous in text vignettes. Collated complete. 

    With an advertisement for a shearing machine to the front free endpaper.

    Written by Walter James Malden, author of a number of works regarding agriculture and judge of a number of prestigious farming association awards.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally very smart with slight bumping to the extremities. Slight rubbing to joints. The odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages.
