    First Edition, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    First edition. Very scarce. The author's first published collection of verses, containing titles such as: Proserpina and the Sea-Nymphs, The Barberry Bush, The White Peak, On Arranging a Bowl of Violets, and To a New-Born Baby Girl, amongst others. Written by Grace Walcott Hazard Conkling, an American author, poet and English professor.

    Condition

    In the original paper covered boards. Externally, sound with light wear and minor creases to the extremities. Sunning to the spine with chipping to the board edges. Light loss to the head and tail of the spine resulting in tears to the joints. Paper covers may detach with further handling. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
