This work is a meticulously researched local history of the Leicestershire village of Wymeswold. Drawing from Rev. R.C. Green’s collection of parish documents, this volume chronicles the parish’s manorial lineage, church history, notable families, geology, folklore, and social customs, accompanied by 16 black and white plate illustrations. Collated, complete.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Slight fading to spine. Library annotations to spine. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Offsetting to endpapers. Library stamp from "Nottingham High School Library" to front endpapers. Cutting from obituary in the "Weekly Guardian" commemorating the death of Rev. S. P. Potter affixed to front paste down. Previous owner's signature to title page. Library stamp to page 87, the plate facing page 34, and the final plate facing page 116, with offsetting.
