With the first edition issue point of '1915' to the verso of the title page, as stated by Riall in 'A New Bibliography of Arthur Rackham'. Lacking the first issue point of the frontispiece mounted on dark green paper.
Bound in the publisher's pictorial green cloth.
The Rackham edition, with twelve striking, colour plates by noted illustrator, Arthur Rackham, known for being one of the leading figures in the Golden Age of British book illustration.
Collated, complete.
A wonderfully illustrated edition of Charles Dickens's celebrated festive tale 'A Christmas Carol', in which Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by well-meaning ghosts, in an attempt to persuade him to change his cruel ways.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Back strip lightly age toned, with light shelf wear to back strip tail and rubbing to bac strip head. Light handling mark to fore edge of front board. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright, with instances of spotting to page perimeters.
