Written by Robert W. Williamson, a member of the council of the Royal Anthropological Institute and an author of travel works based on Polynesia and neighbouring countries.
This work presents the author's observations of the native people of the Solomon Islands, New Guinea and the neighbouring coastal areas. Williamson took this trip in 1910, as part of an anthropological expedition into British New Guinea.
Illustrated with 43 illustrations and a folding map. Collated, complete.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, lovely, with minor shelf wear only. A few light spots to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Bright and clean pages, with just the odd handling mark.
