A collection of poems from the renowned Victorian novelist and poet. This collection, though titled after the lighter satirical works, is best known for its inclusion of 'poems 1912-13' which were written in response of the death of his wife Emma, depicting their life together and his grief.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with slight marks to the boards with light damp staining to the head of the front, very minimal edge wear and very slight fading to the spine. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
