Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

The third impression of the first edition of this collection, published in the same year as the first edition.

'Dracula's Guest' was initially the first chapter of Stoker's 1897 novel, but was deleted prior to publication at the publisher's recommendation, as it was viewed as superfluous to the tale.

This work contains eight further short stories alongside the titular tale: 'A Dream of Red Hands', 'The Burial of the Rats', 'The Judge's House', 'The Squaw', 'The Secret of the Growing Gold', 'A Gipsy Prophecy', 'The Coming of Abel Behenna', and 'Crooken Sands'.
