A topographical and historical guide to many locations in Surrey, with commentary on points of interest, hidden gems, and the local scenery. This work provides a delightful chapter-by-chapter guide to the various towns and villages of the area, including: Egham, Richmond, Esher, Worplesdon and Guildford. With an index to the rear of each volume. Written by James S. Ogilvy, a lesser-known British travel writer and artist.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting. Minor age toning to the page edges with further ageing to the endpapers.
