'The Royal Engineers Journal' was a magazine focussing solely on engineering, including articles on a variety of related topics.

Volume XVII is illustrated with fourteen folding plates, and fifteen plates.

Volume XVIII is illustrated with a frontispiece, six folding plates, and nineteen plates.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Tear to the head of the front joint, and to the tail of the rear joint. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the cloth. Front hinge is starting but firm. Rear hinge is strained. Spots to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots.
