    Description

    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    First edition. Illustrated throughout with six plates, each with tissue guard. Collated, bound without the tipped-in colour frontispiece. Poems include: 'Father Time', 'March Wind', 'Blackberries', 'Up in a Tree', and 'Dreaming'. Written by Alice M. Brown, a British writer of children's works. Illustrated by Isabel Bonus, a British illustrator and artist.

    Condition

    In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Tide marks to the front board. Original unclipped dust wrapper also smart with light shelf wear, tide marks and discolouration from red cloth to the front board. Light chipping to the extremities and the odd closed tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Some have been stained from cloth. Lacking the colour frontispiece
