This set features four volumes of works by the noteworthy English novelist and poet, George Eliot, from William Blackwood's 'George Eliot's Works' series. George Eliot was the pen name of Mary Ann Evans, one of the leading writers of the Victorian Era.

This set includes; 'Felix Holt: The Radical', volume one only, 'Adam Bede', volume two only, and 'Scenes of Clerical Life', volume one only, and 'Middlemarch', volume two only.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloths. Externally excellent with only sunning and minimal bumping to the spines. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with the slightest age toning to the extremities of the pages, and a significant closed tear to the head of the title page to 'Felix Holt', separating the head of the page. Otherwise, lovely internally.
