A detailed study of the continent of Oceania providing information on the isles of the Pacific, including Honolulu, Fiji, Samoa, The Solomons, and New Guinea. As well as commentary on Australia and New Zealand from locals and tourists, with reference to the impact of the British Empire. Written by Sir Frank Ignatius Fox, an Australian-born journalist, soldier, author and campaigner. With illustrations from Norman H. Hardy, a British artist, illustrator, and traveller, Frank Wright and William Wright known as F. & W. Wright, New Zealand-born artists and printmakers, and Percy Frederick Seaton Spence, an Australian artist.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with small marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spotting throughout. Minor age toning to the endpapers.
