The first edition of this work, a very scarce volume rarely seen in commerce. Only catalogued in two institutional libraries including the University of Edinburgh and the British Library. 

A study of the Third Orders of Saint Francis by Father William, with an introduction by the most Rev. Dr Kenealy. Chapters concern topics such as the conditions of admission to the Order, the training of novices, and the amusements of the tertiaries among others.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally generally smart with only light bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities, with minor marking to boards. Library sticker to front board and front free endpaper. Previous ownership ink inscription to front free endpaper. Library stamp to half title. No further library markings. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
