    Description

    With scarce dustwrapper. Illustrated with eight colour plates. Collated complete. The retelling of Dicken's novel, Barnaby Rudge, for children. Written by Alice F. Jackson, an English writer. Illustrated by F. M. B. Blaikie, a British illustrator and artist.

    Condition

    In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Original unclipped dustwrapper is sound with front board detached. Light chipping to the extremities and the odd mark to the board. 3" closed tear to the front board with minor loss. Sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Light age toning to the endpapers. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
