This copy in full red calf prize binding for The Royal Drawing Society, with gilt to the spine, borders and dentelles. With prize bookplate tipped-in to the front pastedown.

Offering Stevenson's playful and reflective writings on societal conventions and his own personal experiences of the time, including 'Crabbed Age and Youth', 'The English Admirals', 'Ordered South' and 'El Dorado'.

Condition

In full red calf prize binding for The Royal Drawing Society, with gilt to the spine, borders and dentelles. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities and to the spine gilt. Discoloured areas to the leather. With prize bookplate tipped-in to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright, with scattered spots throughout.
