    In the publisher's original cloth. 

    The second novel from the renowned English novelist and poet David Herbert Lawrence. This novel was inspired by the experiences of his friend and author Helen Corke, and her affair with a married man.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with a slight lean, bumping to the extremities, slight marks to the boards, and light wear to the extremities and joints with small tears to the head and tail of the spine. Rear joint starting. Offsetting to the front endpapers with label remnants to the front pastedown. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages with occasional light spotting.
