What Our Customers Say...
Description
Leather Binding
Bound in smart black morocco, this is a smart, decorative copy, published in 1912 - an indication of the popularity of the first edition, published in 1903.

Henry Ryecroft's unexpected relief from the toils of his everyday life, in the form of an inheritance, allows him to carry out a contemplative, rural existence in Devon. Upon his death, extracts of his observations are cultivated for publication.
Decorated with gilt detail to boards, spine, and spine tips, as well as a gilt top edge, and gilt doublures, bordering marbled end papers.
Condition
