The complete poetical works of Percy Bysshe Shelley, an English writer considered one of the major English Romantic poets, who became an important influence on subsequent generations of poets. A radical in his poetry as well as in his political and social views, Shelley did not achieve fame during his lifetime, but recognition of his achievements in poetry grew steadily following his death. Edited with textual notes by Thomas Hutchinson was a scholar and editor.

Condition

Bound in quarter vellum with cloth boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor discolouration to the spine, as is typical with ageing. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light age toning to the endpapers with a school prize bookplate to the front pastedown.
