In the original cloth binding. 

Illustrated by Dutch-French painter, F. De Haenen, with thirty-two plates, sixteen of which are in full colour. Collated, complete. 

Offering guides to the city's history, galleries, churches, societal norms, customs and the average daily life of a Moscow resident at the time. 

Written by H. M. Grove.

With two pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with fading to the spine and minimal shelf wear. Also with minor fading and a couple marks to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright, with age toning to the endpapers and frequent scattered spots throughout.
