With seven plates and a colour frontispiece and further illustrations throughout the text.
Collated, complete.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with some fading to the spine. Front and rear hinges are starting but remain firm. Previous owner pencil inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1919. Pages are lightly aged toned with the odd scattered spot to the odd page.
