First illustrated edition, text first published in 1920. Illustrated with six tipped-in colour plates and numerous headpieces. Collated complete. A study on fox hunting with guides to fox hounds and their training, huntsmanship, and good horse breeding. Written by Richard Greville Verney, a British peer and conservative politician. Illustrated by Lionel Edwards.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor fading to the spines. The odd small mark to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light spotting to the pages of Scattered Scarlet and Hunting the Fox, with light age toning to the endpapers.
