This illustrated volume offers information and guidance for medics and surgeons on subjects such as obstretric medicine, forensic medicine, bacteriology, and diet. The present copy of this encyclopaedia guide covers letters A and B.

Condition

In the publisher's original red calf binding over patterned boards. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards, with a little bumping towards the extremities. A little rubbed to the front joint and the head of the spine. The top spine label is just beginning to lift. The front hinge is starting, but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered foxing throughout.
