This biography is the work of French statesman and historian Gabriel Hanotaux, who was Fance's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1894 to 1895 and 1896 to 1898.

Rebound in half vellum, with the publisher's original front and rear wraps bound in.

Condition

In a half vellum binding, with decorative paper boards. Externally, smart. Light spotting to fore edge of front board, and perimeters of rear board. Spotting to text block fore edge. Publisher's original front and rear wraps bound in, with significant spotting to perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright, with the odd spot to page perimeters.
