This is a teaching manual in the form of a story.
It was written by Professor J.M.D Meiklejohn and Walter Crane.
The rear free endpaper and pastedown contain detailed instructions on teaching methods. The teaching method in the book is aimed to be led by the child. The pictures are given to provide hints and encouragement.
The text is accompanied by twenty six colour illustrations. Collated complete.
Condition
In the original pictorial cloth. The odd spot to the front board. Internally generally firmly bound. The first three pages are detached but present. Marginal age toning. The pages are generally bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
