    Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    The 8th impression. First published in 1878. 

    In the publisher's original cloth with the original, vanishingly scarce early 20th century illustrated dust wrapper. 

    Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece and monochrome vignettes by Charles Whymper. 

    This work was written by Richard Jefferies and provides a charming collection of rural rambles and commentaries on the fields, meadows and woods. 

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Minimal offsetting to the endpapers. The wrap is very smart with handling marks, slight sunning to the spine and minor edge wear. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
