It aims to teach children about nature. Each plant is accompanied by a detailed illustration created by Maxwell Armfield. It contains nineteen plates. Collated complete.
Written by Constance Armfield and illustrated by Maxwell Armfield. Each flower is given a voice within the text and they are the ones who teach the children about why they are significant within a larger ecosystem.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth. Externally very smart. Loss to the front board. Rubbing to the head and tail of the spine. Joints are tender but still relatively firm. Internally generally firmly bound. Offsetting to the front free endpaper. contemporary gift inscription to the first leaf. Spotting to the first and last pages but pages are generally clean with the odd spot. Pages roughly cut.
